Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Central America

Built to withstand hurricane-force storms

We worked with International Environments Limited on this landmark

building for the Government’s new foreign affairs, Foreign Trade, and

Immigration.

The building is designed to British Standards and is both earthquake

and hurricane resilient.

We provided 65 tonnes of steel across the 25,000 sq. ft structures,

including 12 tonnes of cold rolled steel. In addition to this we also

provided the cladding and glazing systems.

The advanced through-wall façade system gives a modern,

sophisticated look, and the use of the perforated cladding panels in

various sizes helps to provide shading from the sun and preventing

heat build-up inside during the day.

It also allowed for the installation of plants in the perforated cladding

panels, which enhance the buildings aesthetic appeal while promoting

environmental sustainability.
